Because I like metal music (and finding new music to listen to), I created a Python tool that scrapes metal albums and their metadata (release year, review rating, country of origin, etc.) for bands from specific countries from Metal-Archives, a comprehensive encyclopedia of metal music. A rating threshold can be specified for the albums, resulting in a list of the highest rated metal albums for specific countries.

A sentiment analysis tool I created, utilizes n-gram models for both the positive and negative sentiment, and distinguishes which models fits a given sentence the best by applying a Naive Bayes Classifier.
